On Sunday, Vlada, Sabina and I went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. 
The cherry trees had only just started to bloom. The forsythias, hyacinths, daffodils and tulips were in full bloom. The magnolia tress were spectacular. The turtles were either sunning themselves on rocks in the Japanese garden or swimming with the koi fish. That morning I planted ivy in the clay pot by the front door of our building. It was so warm that day that it sort of felt like Summer.
