Easter Sunday, 2014

Ce dimanche de Pâques, nous étions au jardin botanique de New York, C'était la premiere fois que nous nous y trouvions au mois d'Avril et donc la première fois que nous avons pu voir les prunus en fleur dans toute leur splendeur.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden

On Sunday, Vlada, Sabina and I went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The cherry trees had only just started to bloom. The forsythias, hyacinths, daffodils and tulips were in full bloom. The magnolia tress were spectacular. The turtles were either sunning themselves on rocks in the Japanese garden or swimming with the koi fish. That morning I planted ivy in the clay pot by the front door of our building. It was so warm that day that it sort of felt like Summer.
